Bonfire Design, the first consultancy in the UK to be accredited by the Design Association, is looking to expand its management team. Recent growth and client development has led to the Full-Time requirement for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious individual in the area of Account Management and Direction.

As a Business Development / Account Management professional you will report to the company Directors, initially acting in a supportive capacity in the day-to-day management of key accounts.

For the right candidate this is a rewarding role and you will be given the opportunity to develop both the role itself and play a key part in the future development and management of the Account Management Team.

Within the role you will be responsible for all areas of account/project management including quoting, client liaison, briefing and profitability targets. You will also liaise directly with the Creative Director to brief studio staff as and when required. Attention to detail is paramount for the company to maintain its high standards of work and the ability to identify and realise opportunities as and when they arise from both existing and potential clients is a must. Administrative support will be supplied and the company will give you the backing to make the most of this opportunity.

This role is performance-driven consisting of a basic salary of £24,000-£28,000 basic plus a commission/bonus for performance with no fixed ceiling to your annual remuneration and rewards. We also run a company Stakeholder Pension Scheme if required.

The core requirements are:
  1. A degree or equivalent.
  2. Suitable and relevant Account Management experience.
  3. Good track record with verified references.
  4. Good analytical and numerical ability.
  5. Excellent commercial judgement.
  6. Business and media/print management skills.
  7. An understanding of the business dynamics of a design company.
  8. Competency with Excel & other MSOffice applications.
  9. Experience of the Macintosh environment would be a benefit but is not essential.
  10. Honesty.
